(together with its affiliates, "KKR") today announced the signing of a definitive agreement with private investment firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson ("VSS") whereby an affiliate of KKR will acquire Ipreo Holdings LLC, a premier global provider of capital markets related data, market intelligence, and productivity solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

居屋, 還是不蓋的好

【答問大會】議員要求復建居屋,曾蔭權指置安心是優化居屋計劃

  《經濟通通訊社19日專訊》在行政長官答問大會上,立法會議員涂謹申要求行政長官曾蔭
權回答,政府是否會復建居屋。
  曾蔭權回應指,早前公布「置安心」計劃,就是優化的居屋計劃,誠意推介給市民,他強調
,不是不理會社會的意見,但落實置安心計劃,比起復建居屋更快更有效。
  他又指,如果要復建居屋,需要考慮土地供應,政府不應該將預留興建公屋的土地,改為興
建居屋。相信大家亦不會同意,將興建私人住宅的土地,用來建居屋,屆時政府推出的土地只會
更細,令樓價飆升,市場更扭曲。
